Marketing data and analytics
What works? What doesn’t?
Data in plain English
A key part of website design, SEO and content and any digital marketing endeavour is the ability to see how it’s performing.
That’s down to marketing data and analytics. It prevents good work (and good money) from being wasted.
It’s more than simply monitoring your marketing data and analytics. We also:
- Pick out the information that actually matters
- Interpret it in a way that makes sense
- Provide tailored advice on how to save time, effort and money
Plain-English data and analytics
The great thing about data is that it tells you a lot.
The problem with data? Well, it tells you a lot.
We pick out the details which matter to you. They make a difference to your bottom line. You’ll be glad to hear that these details are delivered in plain English — not bewildering data twaddle.
You’ll receive clear, unambiguous monthly reports, plus easy-to-follow advice on where to concentrate marketing resources — and where to spend less money.

Marketing data and analytics —
How it works
When you hire us for website design, Google ads management or Facebook ads, data and analytics are available as part of the package. The reason for this is simple:
We want your marketing to work.
For example, you’ll discover:
- Where traffic is coming from
- How people behave when they land on a page
- Whether or not your content engages their attention
- How much business you’re generating from specific activities
- Whether or not the ad spend is justified
Once you know this, it’s a game changer.
It allows you to focus only on marketing strategies which get profitable results.

New website for the Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC)
ICNARC wanted a new website with a cleaner look and user-friendly navigation. This was a complex website. It required multi-functionality while remaining incredibly easy to use. Their staff regularly update the website so, importantly, it also had to be simple for them to add new content. Find out how we managed it.
Rick Stein’s new website
Rick Stein’s previous website was 7 years old and in need of a fresh look and feel. During lockdown, we were asked to update it. The deadline was challenging — 2 months — but we did it. In fact, we launched Rick’s new website, combining WordPress and Shopify, within just 6 weeks.
